Company quickstart

From an empty dashboard to a merged PR in five steps.

1. 1

   Install the Koduo App

   Install the GitHub App on the repo you want to expose. Koduo only gets Issues, Pull requests, and Contents (read/write) plus read-only Metadata and Checks, never Administration, and only on the repos you choose. See the exact scopes on the add-project screen.

2. 2

   Attach a repo

   Pick the installed repo in the onboarding wizard. That becomes a Koduo project, the home for its tasks, specs, and PRs.

   Post a task

   Describe what you want. AI writes a spec: summary, acceptance criteria, and the files it expects to touch. Good inputs make good specs; see writing a good task.

4. 4

   Choose how it starts

   By default AI takes the first pass and opens a PR. Route a judgment-heavy task straight to a developer when you'd rather a human start. Either way, a developer can finish or improve any PR.

5. 5

   Review and merge

   Compare the PRs on the task page, check the diffs, and merge the one you want. You pay only for the code that ships, never for a failed attempt.
